摘要:An efficient catalytic oxidization using a stable and safe oxone/CaCl2/TEMPO (TEMPO=2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy) system to convert alkyl or benzyl alcohols to carbonyl compounds under room temperature is described. Primary benzyl alcohols are readily oxidized to the corresponding aldehydes in excellent yields (90%similar to 96%). Secondary alcohols are converted to corresponding ketones in 81%similar to 85% yields. Oxidative cyclization of 1,4-diol to gamma-lactone in 94% is obtained.
