摘要:NOVELTY - A chiral dehydroabietylamine derivative (I) is new. USE - Chiral dehydroabietylamine derivative used as catalyst for asymmetric Morita-Baylis-Hillman reactions (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The chiral dehydroabietylamine derivative has low cost and easy preparation. It is an efficient catalyst with product yield of 94% and enantioselectivity of 89%ee. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A chiral dehydroabietylamine derivative of formula (I) is new. R1=X; R2=X where chiral configuration is (1R,2R), or H where chiral configuration is (1S,2S); R3=X; and X=alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl containing 4C alkyl, 4C alkoxy, or halo substituents. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of chiral dehydroabietylamine derivative (I); and (2) application of chiral dehydroabietylamine derivative (I) comprising catalyzing reaction of activated alkene (i) and aromatic aldehyde (ii) via Morita-Baylis-Hillman reaction. Ar'=aryl, aryl containing phenyl, naphthyl, thienyl, furanyl, pyridinyl, chloro, alkoxy, halo, nitro, cyano, or Me; R1'=phenyl, naphthyl, phenyl containing 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, or halo; and R2'=H, alkyl, phenyl, phenyl containing chloro, alkoxy, or halo.
