摘要:Food waste is a persistent global problem with negative economic, environmental, and social impacts. Consumers are one of the main sources of food waste. Many scholars have studied consumer behavior, but relatively little research has been conducted on the design and practice of consumer waste behavior intervention strategies, and the construction of a sustainable system is comparatively lacking. From the perspective of a sustainable system, the article takes human behavior as the key element in the system and promotes sustainable food consumption by intervening in user behaviors. First, user behaviors are integrated according to the processes of food planning, purchasing, storage, cooking, consumption, and disposition, and we analyze the causes of food waste based on the theory of planned behavior using observation and semi-structured interviews. Second, behavioral intervention strategies are formulated, including information, modeling, education, and feedback. Finally, a food management system is constructed, based on which the application that interfere with user behavior are developed. The research explores the complex relationship between consumer behavior and food waste phenomena, proposes design-led intervention strategies, and provides users with feasible food management processes, thus reducing food waste and providing a reference for future research. ? 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
