摘要:In this paper, we propose a double-sided acoustic metagrating composed of periodic grooves to realize three-channel sound retroreflection on both sides of the metagrating. The sound pressure field distributions are numerically calculated and analyzed to demonstrate the bilateral three-channel sound retroreflection. Only the retroreflected wave is allowed and the other diffracted waves are suppressed for double-sided acoustic metagrating with designed groove heights. For top incidence and bottom incidence cases, the sound pressure field distributions show that the acoustic waves coming from different incident angles are completely reflected to the original incident directions by the double-sided acoustic metagrating, which agree well with the theoretical prediction. Our research work provides a good reference for designing retroreflected acoustic devices with simple structure, and has potential applications in many fields, such as acoustic sensing, acoustic communication, and nondestructive detection. ?
