In this Paper, the thermodynamics of CO 2 hydrogenation to acetic acid was analyzed The result showed that CO 2 hydrogenation to acetic acid is possible in the range of 3 0 ̄4 0MPa and 180℃ ̄300℃ On RhAg/SiO 2 and RhAgLiOH/SiO 2 catalysts, CO 2 hydrogenation experiments were carried out in a microreactor to study the activity and selectivity to acetic acid On RhAgLiOH/SiO 2 catalyst, the selectivity to acetic acid reached 32 04% at a CO 2/H 2 ratio of 0 5(mol ratio), 190℃ and 3 3MPa In the range of 180 ̄280℃, the variations of selectivity and the formation rate of acetic acid on RhAg/SiO 2(r) and RhAgLiOH/SiO 2 catalyst were not monotonous The formation rate of acetic acid showed two maxima at 190℃ and 250℃, and the selectivity to acetic acid showed two maxima at 190℃ and 230℃
