摘要:NOVELTY - A polypropylene foam material (I) comprises high-melt strength polypropylene resin (100 pts. wt.) added with other raw materials consisting of (wt.% based on the weight of high-melt strength polypropylene resin) organic chemical foaming agent (0.1-10), foaming additive (0.1-1), nucleating agent (0.1-1.5), and liquid processing additive (0.1-0.5). USE - Polypropylene foam material (I) used in, e.g. building material, automobile parts, packaging, transportation, sports equipment and chemical engineering field. ADVANTAGE - The polypropylene foam material (I) can be prepared using simple process with high production efficiency and reduced production cost. It has an expansion ratio of 2-30, a density of 50-500 kg/m3, and an adjustable size of 10-300 mu m, thus it can be widely used in different fields. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (A) a polypropylene foam material processing device which operates under the action of pulsating shearing force, comprising a traditional single screw extruder (1) having a screw length-to-diameter ratio of (10:1)-(65:1) and an extruding die head consisting of annular tubular mold or sheet mold head device; and a vibration unit (2) provided on the single screw extruder and capable of generating shear force pulse with amplitude of 0.01-1 mm and frequency of 1-60 Hz; and (B) preparation of polypropylene foam material (I), comprising (a) mixing the predetermined amount of powder raw materials consisting of nucleating agent, organic chemical foaming agent, and foaming additive to obtain a powder pre-mixed material (M1); (b) mixing the predetermined amount of polypropylene resin particles and liquid processing additive in a high-speed mixer for 10-15 minutes, adding with the pre-mixed material (M1), mixing for 10-20 minutes to obtain a uniformly mixed material (M2); (c) introducing the mixed material (M2) into the screw extruder through a hopper; extruding the material continuously under predetermined operating conditions, and cooling the extruded product using air or cooling water to obtain the polypropylene foam material (I). In step (c), the extrusion process is performed under a barrel feeding section temperature of 145-170 degrees C, a screw processing zone temperature of 180-215 degrees C, a mold head temperature of 155-170 degrees C, a screw rotating speed of 6-80 revolutions/minute, an amplitude of the shear force pulse generated by the vibration unit of 0.05-0.5 mm, and a frequency of the shear force pulse of 5-30 Hz.
