摘要:The electronic switching centers of metal organic frameworks (MOFs) and the catenane [FeAu(CN)(2)(bpd)(m)center dot xH(2)O]center dot yH(2)O are sensitive to the presence of small molecules, and reversibly uptake and release water. The switching centers arise from the presence of Iron(II) spin crossover (SCO) centers within the framework lattice, and the SCO behaviors emerge in dehydrated samples. The water-exchanging MOFs may realize previously undeveloped materials, which can aid the development of electronic devices such as molecular switches. (C) 2014 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
