摘要:NOVELTY - Mixed ionic-electronic conductor oxide/diatomite composite soot combustion catalyst comprises mixed ion-electron conductor oxide and diatomaceous earth, where the mixed ion-electron conductor oxide i.e. barium-strontium-cobalt-iron complex and the amount of mixed ion-electron conductor oxide is 10-80 wt.% mass of diatomaceous earth. USE - Used as mixed ionic-electronic conductor oxide/diatomite composite soot combustion catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has high catalytic activity; and the method has simple preparation process and is suitable for industrial promotion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Mixed ionic-electronic conductor oxide/diatomite composite soot combustion catalyst comprises mixed ion-electron conductor oxide and diatomaceous earth, where the mixed ion-electron conductor oxide i.e. barium-strontium-cobalt-iron complex (Ba(1-x)SrxCo(1-y)FeyO3 and the amount of mixed ion-electron conductor oxide is 10-80 wt.% mass of diatomaceous earth. x = less than or equal to 0.3-0.7; and y = less than or equal to 0-0.5. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing mixed ionic-electronic conductor oxide/diatomite composite soot combustion catalyst comprising (i) dissolving mixed ion-electron conductor oxide, barium salt, strontium salt, cobalt salt and iron salt in distilled water, and then adding diatomaceous earth to dispersing evenly, and heating and stirring at 70-90 degrees C to obtain homogeneous mixture, (ii) adding citric acid and ethylene glycol to the mixture of step (i), adjusting the pH of the mixed solution to 1-3 with dilute nitric acid solution and heating the mixture at 70-90 degrees C to form wet gel, (iii) drying the gel in step (ii) at 120-150 degrees C to obtain dry gel, (iv) calcining dry gel at 400-800 degrees C for 1-10 hours to obtain final product.
