摘要:Sodium calcium borate glass derived hydroxyapatite was prepared for the absorption of lead ions in aqueous solutions. The effects of different particle sizes, initial pH value and adsorption time on adsorption performance were investigated. The results showed that glass derived hydroxyapatite could effectively immobilize lead ions from solution. The mechanism of immobilizing Pb2+ ions from aqueous solutions by glass derived hydroxyapatite was investigated by the x-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectrometry. The adsorption kinetics of Pb2+ on glass derived hydroxyapatite fit a second order kinetic model.
