摘要：Subject construction is critical to the creative development of a university. It is also vital to the development of basic subjects including physical education. Therefore, a reasonable and well-structured subject system is essential for continuous development of basic subjects. Currently, the sport subject construction in Chinese comprehensive universities is mainly focusing on physical education as a general education approach, mass sports and high-level sports teams development, which is lack of leading effects from a well-structured sport subject system. In recent years, sports industry is rapidly developing in China. Therefore, it is a good opportunity for comprehensive universities to broad their vision and seize the opportunity to develop their sport subjects in a creative way. This article analyses the current situations in the sport subject construction in Chinese comprehensive universities, and makes use of some successful experiences from comprehensive universities at home and abroad to establish an inter-discipline development structure. Hopefully, it will give some ideas to the sport subject construction in Chinese comprehensive universities.
