摘要:NOVELTY - Preparing mesoporous material comprises mixing metal salt with furfuryl alcohol to form alcoholic first solution, impregnating the mesoporous material in the first solution, placing the impregnated mesoporous material under vacuum conditions, placing the mesoporous material at high-temperature carbonization conditions under an inert atmosphere, and carbonizing the mesoporous materials under aerobic conditions in an atmosphere. USE - The material is useful for catalytic alkylation reaction or coupling reaction, preferably benzylation reaction of benzene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the material with high catalytic activity and with high selectivity in a simple and efficient manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the mesoporous material obtained by the method.
