摘要：汉语话题链与汉语句子的关系存在两种观点,即"话题链通常是句子"和"部分话题链是句子"。但这两种观点在识别话题链句子时都存在瑕疵。引入情节概念,则可以从语义上限制话题链句子的界限。换句话说,如果话题链句子在一个情节内进行认定,那么就可以避免出现话题链句子跨越段落的现象,同时还可以排除"以同指名词话题形式链接的话题链"被认定为话题链句子的可能。但正如汉语句子的界定一样,仅依靠语义特征,同样无法彻底解决话题链句子的识别问题。
There exist two views on the relationship between a Chinese topic chain and a Chinese sentence： the topic chain is roughly equal to a Chinese sentence; all topic chains are not sentences. However, the two views fail to be adequately evi- denced. This paper claims that a study from the perspective of episode should help identify a Chinese sentential topic chain in spite of its inadequacy to provide a thorough solution to all the problems concemed.
