摘要:Nano-NiO and Bi2O3 modified NiO have been successfully prepared by precipitation method and used as catalyst for the carbonylation of acetylene to acrylic acid. The specimens were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, N-2 adsorption-desorption, scanning electron microscopy, hydrogen temperature-program reduction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. These results indicated that the introduction of Bi2O3 to the catalyst greatly affected the physical and chemical properties of NiO. The catalytic performance of Bi2O3/NiO depends on the content of Bi2O3, and a composite oxide catalyst with 11.1 wt.% of Bi2O3 showed significantly higher activity compared to its components in the pure phase.
