摘要：本文基于Talmy对运动事件所作的图式语义成分分析，着重考察了荚汉路径语义的句法构形特点，依次比较了英汉在使用路径动词、空间介词、无背衬和有背衬小句以及有背衬动词提挈背衬数目这几方面的差别。文中量化分析揭示的差别为英汉语运动事件的类型学分类提供了重要证据，倾向于修正Talmy在这方面对汉语所持的观点。
This article, based on Talmy＇ s seminal schematic analysis of motion events＇ semantics, explores the syntactic configuration of the path elements of motion events in English and Chinese, in terms of path verbs, spatial prepositions, minus-ground vesus plus-ground clauses, and the number of grounds governed by a plus-ground verb. The statistic results are helpful in revising the typological categorization of Chinese by Talmy.
