摘要:NOVELTY - Preparation of carbon foam involves placing coal tar pitch into a reactor, heating at 200-300 degrees C for 0.5-10 hours, performing air oxidation process in 100-300 rpm and air flow rate of 100-1000 mL/minute, obtaining high-softening point pitch, crushing the resultant material to particle size of 5-1000 mu m, adding 1-5000 g/L organic solvent, magnetically stirring at 25-100 degrees C for 2-10 hours, filtering, drying, adding foaming agent and reinforcing agent, mixing, adding 10-500 g resultant mixture into a 0.5-5 L reactor, sealing the reactor and reacting at 300-500 degrees C for 0.5-10 hours. USE - Preparation of carbon foam used as thermal-insulation material for building. ADVANTAGE - The method provides carbon foam by economical process with reduced energy consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of carbon foam involves placing coal tar pitch into a reactor, heating at 200-300 degrees C for 0.5-10 hours in rate of 5-10 degrees C/minute, performing air oxidation process in 100-300 rpm and air flow rate of 100-1000 mL/minute, obtaining high-softening point pitch, crushing the resultant material to particle size of 5-1000 mu m, adding 1-5000 g/L organic solvent, magnetically stirring at 25-100 degrees C for 2-10 hours, filtering, drying, adding foaming agent and reinforcing agent, mixing, adding 10-500 g resultant mixture into a 0.5-5 L reactor, sealing the reactor and reacting at 300-500 degrees C for 0.5-10 hours in 1-20 degrees C/minute. The weight ratio of foaming agent and high-softening point pitch is 1-20:100. The weight ratio of reinforcing agent and high-softening point pitch is 2-20:100.
