摘要：NOVELTY - A alpha -thio- alpha -substituted isocyanoacetate compound (I) is new. USE - New alpha -thio- alpha -substituted isocyanoacetate compound is used in preparation of alpha -thio- alpha -substituted amino acid derivative (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The alpha -thio- alpha -substituted isocyanoacetate compound can be prepared with high yield under mild reaction condition by simple and economical process. The catalyst efficiently improves reaction efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A alpha -thio- alpha -substituted isocyanoacetate compound of formula (I) is new. R1=H, 1-6C linear or branched alkyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl, 2-6C alkenyl, alkynyl or aryl; R2=1-6C linear or branched alkyl, aryl, benzyl or aralkyl; R3=H, methyl, methoxy, halo, nitro, trifluoromethyl or cyano;and m=0-3. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of compound (I); (2) alpha -thio- alpha -substituted amino acid derivative, which is of formula (A); and (3) preparation of compound (A), which involves hydrolyzing the compound (I) under effect of trifluoroacetic acid for 1 hour, neutralizing the resultant reaction mixture with sodium bicarbonate, extracting with methylene chloride, combining the resultant organic phases, drying, concentrating and performing column chromatography.
