摘要:Recently, to ensure the stability and safety of aircraft, fault detection (FD) for aero-engine fuel control systems play an important role in flight. The faults in the aero-engine are difficult to detect when the flight altitude and speed are varied. To achieve detection of faults, this work develops a new FD method based on polynomial projection techniques. A high-order polynomial projection operator (HiPPO) is applied to project and reconstruct sensor data in order to obtain a data-based model. With the help of neural networks, a residual generator is constructed and the faults are detected precisely. The studies on a real aero-engine fuel control system are carried out to illustrate detection performance when faults occur.
