摘要:NOVELTY - An erythromycin synthesis regulatory gene phoP comprising (a) nucleotide sequence comprising a 681 base pair sequence (SEQ ID NO: 1) fully defined in the specification, (b) nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 encoding a protein comprising a 226 amino acid sequence (SEQ ID NO: 2) fully defined in the specification or (c) nucleotide sequence encoding a protein comprising amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 in which one or more amino acids are added, deleted or substituted and having similar function as amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2, is new. USE - The erythromycin synthesis regulatory gene phoP is useful for positively regulating biosynthesis of erythromycin. The mutant strain is useful for regulating and controlling erythromycin yield (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The erythromycin synthesis regulatory gene phoP improves yield and synthesis efficiency of erythromycin, and increases transcribe level of erythromycin synthesis-related gene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) method for producing the erythromycin synthesis regulatory gene phoP; and (2) use of erythromycin synthesis regulatory gene phoP, for positively regulating biosynthesis of erythromycin.
