摘要：后方法从根本上超越方法概念对外语教学的束缚,强调学习者、教师及教师教育者的身份建构和特定语境对外语教学的影响。后方法视域下的教学参量、师生身份定义和宏观策略框架,构建了全球化时代多元文化背景下动态开放的外语教学模型。后方法有助于我国大学英语教学体制转型时期的英语教师,超越对传统教学法的依赖,辩证反思当前的教学环境、教学规律、教学模式和学生需求,走向理性选择,实现大学英语教学理论和实践的突破性创新。
The postmethod pedagogy transcends the method constraints on the process of language teaching and learning with its emphases on educational context sensitivity and critical reconstruction of learner identity, teacher identity, and teacher educator identity within. The postmethod three-dimensional system, consisting of three pedagogic parameters of particularity, practicality, and possibility, along with the participant identity reconstruction and the macrostrategic framework, creates an open and dynamic foreign language teaching and learning model in globalization and multiculturalism. In this era of transformative educational reform, the postmethod perspective inspires College English teachers to dialectically reflect on the state of the art of English language teaching scenario, principle and model to maximize the authentic needs of English language learners, and empowers them for rational choice on pedagogical techniques for the breakthrough innovation on the localized College English teaching and learning theory and praxis.
