摘要:Herein, we reported a Ni-catalyzed carbonylation ofcyclopropanol with benzyl bromide to afford multisubstitutedcyclopentenone under 1 atm of CO. The reaction proceedsthrough cascade carbonylation of benzyl bromides, followed bygeneration of nickel homoenolate from cyclopropanols via beta-Celimination to afford 1,4-diketones, which undergoes intra-molecular Aldol condensation to furnish highly substituted cyclopentenone derivatives in moderate to good yields. The reactionexhibits high functional group tolerance with broad substrate scope.
