摘要:NOVELTY - A polystyrene/nylon 6 composite comprises compatilizer chosen from maleic anhydride and acrylamide, free radical polymerization initiator chosen from azobisisobutyronitrile and dibenzoyl peroxide, and anionic polymerization initiator chosen from sodium hydroxide, toluene, and methylphenyl-2,4-diisocyanate. USE - Polystyrene/nylon 6 composite. ADVANTAGE - The composite has low water absorption and excellent impact toughness, and can be mass-produced by a simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of composite, which involves melting caprolactam monomer at 130-150 degrees C, decompressing and distilling for 30 minutes, cooling to 60-75 degrees C under nitrogen protection, adding styrene, compatilizer monomer, and radical polymerization initiator, reacting under nitrogen protection for 24 hours to obtain a viscous polystyrene/caprolactam mixed liquid, heating the mixed liquid to 130-150 degrees C, decompressing and distilling for 1 hour to remove the residual small molecule and water, adding anion polymerization initiator, continuously decompressing and distilling for 20 minutes, adding anionic polymerization activator, mixing, and reacting at 170 degrees C for 1 hour.
