摘要：张謇作为中国近代转型期由绅而商的典型,其转变本身有着较为复杂的原因:童少年时期就被着重培养的“务实”、“淳朴”之品性以及成长期生活实践的磨砺,是内因;甲午战争后清政府经济政策的变化与社会风气的转变,是动因;漫漫科举路上留下的伤心和痛楚,是他由绅而商之信念能够启动的内在契机;特殊的个人机遇,是他顺利完成由绅而商转型的外在条件。
Zhang Jian＇s transition from an official to a businessman was due to the following complicated factors： childhood upbringing and life experience during growing-up; transition of Qing government＇s financial policy and social convention; hardship and sorrow brought about by the imperial examination; and specific individual opportunity.
