摘要:NOVELTY - A palladium catalyst comprises active metal palladium particles and zirconia carrier. The active metal palladium particles are provided with particle size of less than 0.3 nm. The amount of active metal palladium particles is 55.7-96.2%. USE - Palladium catalyst is used for catalyzing preparation of gamma -butyrolactone from succinic acid (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The palladium catalyst has high succinic acid conversion rate and high selectivity of gamma -butyrolactone at 99.3%, and is suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) production of palladium catalyst involves mixing palladium source, zirconium source and solvent, subjecting resulting mixed solution to reaction under microwave heating to obtain colloid, drying the colloid, calcining and carrying out reduction reactions; and (2) usage of palladium catalyst for preparation of gamma -butyrolactone from succinic acid.
