摘要：Short video + education is currently on the rise, but video English learning platforms still have the following difficulties. First, whether this learning method is effective and whether it can improve the enthusiasm and efficiency of the learners. Second, such platforms do not have much direct feedback on learning, which is not conducive to the next learning. This article starts with the flow theory. Flow theory represents the best user experience in the learning process. This article will address the following questions: (1) Compared with traditional English learning, will video English learning platforms produce a powerful flow experience? (2) What are the factors that affect the video stream of the video English learning platform? (3) How to apply the elements that stimulate learner flow to the design of video English platform? Research process: (1) The experimental method is used to compare and analyze the flow experience of learners in traditional English learning platform and video English learning platform, as well as their memory status. (2) Investigate the students who have experienced the video English learning platform to understand their feedback. (3) Based on these factors, the concept of video English learning platform is proposed. Conclusion: Compared with traditional learning methods, learning English through video does bring a better learning experience to learners.
