摘要:Different morphological ZSM-5 zeolites including nanosized ZSM-5, hierarchical ZSM-5 and conventional ZSM-5 zeolite were prepared and utilized in tetralin cracking to prepare benzene, toluene and xylene (BTX). Results show that these catalysts mainly vary in the external properties and this reaction takes place on the exterior acid sites of ZSM-5 zeolite pertaining to the larger molecular sizes which cannot easily penetrate into the micropores. The morphologies of ZSM-5 plays a pivot role in the catalytic performances, by introducing hierarchical structure or reducing the particle sizes, more exterior acid sites were available during the reaction and hence boosted the conversion. ? 2022, The Authors.
