USE - Mesoporous silica material is used for forming catalyst used in palladium-catalyzed reaction (all claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A mesoporous silica material comprises 10-(2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethynyl)-8-((thiophen-2-ylmethyl)amino)-3-azatricyclo(7.3.1.05,13)trideca-1(13),5,7,9,11-pentaene-2,4-dione of formula (I). INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) catalyst, which comprises mesoporous silica material loaded with palladium; (2) manufacture of mesoporous silica material; (3) manufacture of catalyst; and (4) method for detecting and/or adsorption of palladium.
