摘要:NOVELTY - A regular structural ruthenium catalyst comprises regular structural carbon nanofiber as catalyst carrier which is loaded with a ruthenium catalyst. USE - Regular structural ruthenium catalyst useful in hydrogenolysis of sorbierite to produce glycol and propanediol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has good catalytic activity and selectivity in sorbierite hydrogenolysis reaction, and has no separation and processing problem in industrial use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of catalyst, comprising soaking regular structural carbon nanofiber carrier in solution of ruthenium-containing compound; aging at room temperature; and drying, then reducing to prepare the ruthenium catalyst loaded on the regular structural carbon nanofiber.
