摘要：NOVELTY - The invention relates to an improving method of electrolyzing glycolal to prepare glyoxalic acid, including at-anode electrolytic oxidation of glycolal to prepare glyoxalic acid and purifying primary glyoxalic acid, where primary composition of electrolyte, electrode apparent flow rate of electrode, electrolyte temperature, electrode parameters and purifying process are all existing techniques, and its characteristic: the electrolysis is made by adopting pulse constant or variable current. ADVANTAGE - As compared with existing electrolyzing modes, it improves electrolyzing current efficiency and selectivity of glyoxalic acid.
