摘要:NOVELTY - Laminated titanium dioxide photocatalyst preparation involves mixing ammonium fluorotitanate with boric acid in certain proportion at room temperature with strong stirring to form uniform and transparent solution. Isopropanol is added into the formed solution with stirring for 20-40 minutes for forming uniformly mixed reaction system, where the reaction system is kept in oil bath for performing liquid phase precipitation reaction. The reaction mixture is cooled at room temperature and centrifugally washed for obtaining white powdery ammonium titanium trioxyfluoride precipitate. USE - Method for preparing laminated titanium dioxide photocatalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method ensures higher catalytic activity than general commercial titanium dioxide catalyst. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Laminated titanium dioxide photocatalyst preparation involves mixing ammonium fluorotitanate with boric acid in certain proportion at room temperature with strong stirring to form uniform and transparent solution. Isopropanol is added into the formed solution with stirring for 20-40 minutes for forming uniformly mixed reaction system, where the reaction system is kept in oil bath for performing liquid phase precipitation reaction. The reaction mixture is cooled at room temperature and centrifugally washed for obtaining white powdery ammonium titanium trioxyfluoride precipitate. The obtained white powdery ammonium titanium trioxyfluoride precipitate is calcined for obtaining the product.
