摘要:NOVELTY - A beta-tricalcium phosphate/mesoporous biological glass composite material comprises beta-tricalcium phosphate and mesoporous biological glass, where a mesoporous biological glass colloidal sol synthesized through a sol-gel method is utilized as a binding agent and a dispersing agent, and a scaffold material is provided with micron level large holes of 100-800 mu m, submicron level small holes of 0.2-1.5 mu m and nano mesopores of 1-10 nm. USE - Beta-tricalcium phosphate/mesoporous biological glass composite material for use as a bone tissue engineering scaffold, and as a drug, protein and/or growth factor controlled release carrier, and for preparing a cell culture scaffold and bone repair material (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has special micro-nano composite porous surface morphology, highly-communicated uniform multilevel pore structure and excellent mechanical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a beta-tricalcium phosphate/mesoporous biological glass composite material, which involves preparing a mesoporous composite sol-gel using beta-tricalcium phosphate bioactive glass, casting the sol-gel in polyurethane foam, drying, aging and calcining to obtain the finished product.
