摘要：建设自由贸易试验区是中国推进更高水平对外开放格局实现的重要举措。本文基于2009—2021年A股上市公司数据,在识别出注册地位于自由贸易试验区内的企业基础上,运用多时点DID方法考察了自由贸易试验区建设对企业绿色技术创新的影响。研究结果表明:自由贸易试验区建设能够显著促进企业绿色技术创新;自由贸易试验区建设通过降低企业制度性交易成本和缓解企业融资约束进而促进企业绿色技术创新;自由贸易试验区建设对企业绿色技术创新的促进作用在沿海自贸区企业、清洁型行业企业和国有企业中更为明显。研究结论有利于深化对自由贸易试验区建设的效果认识,为政府和企业如何抓住高水平开放契机实现绿色发展转型提供理论启示和经验证据。
The construction of pilot free trade zones is an important measure for China to achieve a higher level of opening-up pattern.Based on the A-share listed company panel data from 2009 to 2021,this article identified enterprises registered in the pilot free trade zones and used a multi-period Difference-in-Differences model to examine the impact of the construction of pilot free trade zones on green technology innovation of enterprises.It finds that:Firstly,the construction of pilot free trade zones can significantly promote green technology innovation of enterprises in pilot free trade zone.Secondly,the mechanism research shows that the construction of pilot free trade zones can promote green technology innovation in enterprises by alleviating financing constraints and reducing institutional transaction costs.Thirdly,heterogeneity analysis finds that the construction of pilot free trade zones has a more significant promoting effect on green technology innovation among enterprises in coastal pilot free trade zones,clean industry enterprises,and stateowned enterprises.The research conclusion is conducive to deepening the understanding of the consequences of the construction of China's pilot free trade zones,and also provides theoretical inspiration and empirical evidence for the government and enterprises to seize the opportunity of high-level opening up to achieve green development transformation.
