摘要：本文回顾了我校英语演讲辩论与学生综合能力和素质培养发展的过程,从其发展的三阶段分析了演讲辩论对学生综合能力与素质提高的积极作用。同时讨论了学生的培养训练模式,强调了思辨能力、自信心建立和综合能力运用对外语人才培养的重要意义。
The paper gives a retrospective survey of the process of the cultivation and development of the students＇ integrated ability through English speaking debating.Three phases of the development give prominence to the positive effect of English speaking debating on students＇ overall quality.The training mode is elaborated and speculative ability as well as confidence establishment and application of comprehensive skills are emphasized for they play the crucial roles in the cultivation of the students＇ overall ability.
