摘要:NOVELTY - Ethanedial electrolyzing and oxidizing process of synthesizing glyoxalic acid. The process features that ethanedial is electrolyzed in fixed bed anode electrolyzer with varying current density. ADVANTAGE - When the weight ratio between glyoxalic acid and ethanoedial in anode electrolyte reaches industrial index (40 to 3), the current efficiency and the selectivity of electrolysis reach 85 % and 95 % respectively. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The anode thickness is 4-50 mm and preferably 10-30 mm. The apparent current density is 1000-5000 A/sq m with maximum average of 4500 A/sq m and optimal average of 1000-3500 A/sq m.
