摘要:Studies have found that sedentary behavior is a potential causative factor for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and skeletal muscle disease. Physical activity has been shown to have a relationship between sedentary behavior and cardiovascular disease and cancer mortality and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease and cancer caused by sedentary behavior. However, the likelihood of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSKD) in sedentary populations remains high, with lower back pain (LBP) becoming a typical symptom of MSKD in sedentary people. For more highly sedentary populations, such as long-haul truck drivers, coach drivers, and cab drivers, long-term passive sedentariness puts the prevalence of low back pain in occupational drivers at 84%, professional drivers are a frequent or high-risk group for low back pain. Muscle fatigue from prolonged sedentary activity increases drivers' risk of MSKD and LBP. In this study, we used high-density sEMG (HD-sEMG) to represent the muscle fatigue condition of ES (erector spinae) and LDM (Vastus Medialis) in the LB (lower back) region during a simulated driving task and for the comparison of fatigue (including fatigue onset and recovery) in sedentary and non-sedentary populations, to provide a comprehensive understanding of microscopic fatigue mechanisms. Our result showed that Heat treatment after fatigue was effective for both long-term sedentary and non-long-term sedentary people, and the recovery effect of heat treatment for non-long-term sedentary people was better than that for long-term sedentary people, whichmay be because long-term inactive on the fatigue resistance of ES and LDM muscles.
