摘要:NOVELTY - A post transition metal-containing derivative (I) is new. USE - Post transition metal-containing derivative used as catalyst for ethylene polymerization method (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst stabilizes polymerization temperature, can inhibit phenomenon of bonding kettle, and has convenient preparation, high catalytic activity, and controllable polymer structure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A post transition metal-containing derivative of formula (I) is new. R1 and R2=H, 1-12C alkyl, 6-12C aryl or acenaphthyl; Ar'=phenyl, 1-12C alkyl substituted phenyl, nitro-substituted phenyl, halo-substituted phenyl, biphenyl or 2,2-bis(phenyl)propane; M=Ni or Pd; and X=halo. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of the compound (I); and (2) ethylene polymerization method comprising adding ethylene with compound (I) as main catalyst and organic aluminum as co-catalyst at ratio of 75-5000:1, and polymerizing at 0-90 degrees C and at 1-60 atm for 0.5-8 hours.
