摘要：文章界定了城市的本质定义。提出了城市本质构成的三大基础理论:人性理论、需要理论、环境理论;阐述了认识城市本质的理论意义和现实意义。文章认为,城市本质体现了人本主义思想,体现了人在城市发展中主导作用和不可推卸的历史使命。正确认识城市本质,将为我国科学制定城市发展战略和城市规划,合理有效地经营、建设和管理城市提供科学的理论依据。
This article identifies the nature of urban. It puts forward three basic theories on the nature of urban as the theory of humanity, the theory of demand and the theory of environment. It expounds the theoretic and realistic sense of the study on the nature of cities. The writer thinks that the nature of urbans shows the thought of humanity and it also points out the leading role and unavoidable historical task of human being in the course of the development of cities. The correct knowledge of the nature of cities will provide scientific theoretic basis for the making up of the development strategies and the planning of urbans and for the reasonable and effective operation, construction and management of the urbans.
