摘要：In the context of digital transformation, educators are recommended to integrate digital-intelligent technologies into their classroom teaching. To assure the quality of such pedagogical reform, educators should develop digital competency accordingly. However, existing research has neglected the process of pedagogical reform and has not presented how educators develop digital competency in such context. In view of this, a case study of four English educators, who have introduced artificial intelligence, online teaching, and blended learning to their classroom design. The research is conducted through semi-structured interviews and guided by the EU Digital Competency Framework for Educators. The study has found that educators have all developed their digital competency, but in different ways. The competency of digital resources is easier to be developed, while the competency of facilitating learners' digital competency is harder to be developed. Besides, there are two paths for Educators to develop digital competency, which are problem-oriented and policy-driven. Based on this, recommendations are made in three areas: digital lifelong learning, the transformation of roles during the integration of technology, and policy planning for pedagogical changes. ? 2024 IEEE.
