摘要：NOVELTY - A metallocene compound and its side product during synthesis process comprises organic ligand containing cyclopentadienyl and indene, and transition metal. USE - Metallocene compound and its side product used in catalytic esterification reaction (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The compound is high in activity, few in use amount of metal, high in reaction yield, and convenient in reaction post-treatment. It amplifies the application range of metallocene on organic synthesis, and recycles and utilizes waste produced during production of metallocene. It further simplifies esterification reaction technique so that no wastewater containing acid and alkali is discharged during the esterification post-treatment and pollution of the esterification technique for the environment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a load technique of the compound applied to catalysis of esterification reaction; (2) treatment of metallocene side product for catalysis of esterification reaction; and (3) application of the compound in catalysis of esterification reaction, comprising mixing the compound or the loaded compound with carboxylic acid and alcohol, heating up for refluxing for carrying out esterification reaction, removing water, and distilling for obtaining esterified product.
