摘要:To show the feasibility of using methanol as a supplement of the FCC feedstock, experiments were carried out in a lab-scale fixed-fluidized bed reactor on GOR-II equilibrium FCC catalyst. The effects of operating parameters, such as temperature, mass ratio of catalyst to methanol, feed methanol concentration and space velocity, on methanol conversion and light olefins yield were investigated. At 500 °C , with mass ratio of catalyst to methanol 16, space velocity 0.9 h-1 , mass fraction of feed methanol 0.4, the yield and selectivity of light olefins are 19.78% and 59.55%, respectively, when the catalyst is free of carbon deposit. This result shows that a high yield of light olefins from methanol conversion can be achieved, indicating that methanol can be used as a supplement of the feedstock of FCC.
