摘要:采用极限氧指数(LOI)、垂直燃烧、热重分析等研究聚焦磷酸哌嗪(PAPP),PAPP与氰尿酸三聚氰胺(MCA)复配组成复配阻燃剂(IFR)对高密度聚乙烯(PE-HD)的阻燃性能、热性能的影响.利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和能谱分析(EDS)对阻燃材料分解过程中炭层进行表征,考察IFR的阻燃机理.结果表明,随着PAPP添加量的增加,PE-HD/PAPP材料的LOI从17.0%增加到28.3%,700℃的残炭率从0.05%增加到8.4%,显著提高了PE-HD材料的阻燃和热稳定性.PAPP,MCA复配形成阻燃剂体系在PE-HD材料中的最佳质量比为3:1,添加40%的PAPP和MCA可以使材料达到UL 94 V-0级,且LOI达到35.0%.该阻燃体系的引入使得材料的热稳定性显著提高,700℃的残炭率进一步提高.凝聚相中PE-HD/PAPP/MCA的理论残炭率明显低于实际残炭率,表明PAPP与MCA相互配合具有显著的协效成炭作用,有效地抑制材料的持续燃烧.
The effects of piperazine polypyrophosphate (PAPP), PAPP and melamine cyanurate (MCA) on flame retardancy and thermal stability of PE-HD were evaluated by limited oxygen index (LOI),UL94 vertical burning test and TGA. The flame retardant mechanism of the composite IFR was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The results show that the introduction of PAPP significantly improve the flame retardancy and thermal stability of PE-HD, LOI rise from 17.0% to 28.3%, the char residue increase from 0.05% to 8.4% at 700℃. While the optimum weight ratio of PAPP, MCA is 3∶1, PAPP/MCA/PE-HD composites can reach UL 94 V-0 grade and LOI increase to 35.0% with the addition of 40wt%. The theoretical char residue of PAPP/MCA/PE composites in the condensed phase is significantly lower than the actual char residue, indicating that the synergistic effects between PAPP and MCA were significant.
