摘要：NOVELTY - An N-heterocyclic carbene comprising substituted ketone compound utilized for preparing 3,4-dimethyl-thiazol-3-ium compound (II) with substituted aldehyde compound and substituted alkyl compound. USE - N-heterocyclic carbene for preparing dimethyl-thiazol-3-ium compound. ADVANTAGE - The carbene has high yield. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An N-heterocyclic carbene comprising substituted ketone compound of formula R1-C(=O)-O-CH2-R2 for preparing 3,4-dimethyl-thiazol-3-ium compound of formula (II) with substituted aldehyde compound of formula R1CHO and substituted alkyl compound of formula R2CH2X. R1,R2=2-4C (optionally substituted) straight-chain or branched unsaturated hydrocarbon group or 4-10C heterocyclic radical;and X=halo, 2-4C substituted straight chain or branched unsaturated hydrocarbon group, 1-4C straight-chain or branched chain alkyl or perfluoroalkyl, 1-4C straight-chain or branched alkoxy, phenyl, cyano or nitro, where heterocyclic radical heteroatom is N, S or O and number of heteroatom is 1-3.
