摘要:NOVELTY - Catalyst is claimed. The catalyst is supported catalyst comprises carrier comprising molecular sieve HZSM-5, load comprising 1-3 wt.% cobalt metal and its oxides and 1-3 wt.% niobium metal and its oxides and carrier in 100 wt.% supported catalyst, where supported catalyst has a specific surface area of 120-300 m2/g, average pore size is 2-9 nm, and a pore volume is 0.06-0.5 ml/g. USE - The catalyst is useful for preparing aromatic hydrocarbon from methanol at low temperature (claimed) and durene, preferably at below 350 degrees C. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing catalyst, comprising (i) calcining HZSM-5 molecular sieve at 400-550 degrees C for 2-6 hours and cooling; (ii) loading cobalt metal precursor or the metal niobium precursor on processed HZSM-5 molecular sieve, drying at room temperature, drying at 100-120 degrees C for 12 hours, and calcining at 300-600 degrees C for 4 hours to obtain intermediates; and (iii) supporting metal niobium precursor or metal cobalt precursor on the intermediate, drying similarly at room temperature and at 100-120 degrees C for 12 hours and calcining at 300-600 degrees C for at least 4 hours, where precursor of metallic cobalt is a water-soluble salt of metallic cobalt, and metallic niobium is a water-soluble oxalate of metallic niobium.
