摘要:NOVELTY - Preparation of an amphoteric comb-type polyacrylamide (I) comprises adding 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate and 1-bromoalkane to a flask filled with acetone, adding hydroquinone, and reacting for 6-10 hours; removing acetone, washing, and vacuum drying for 24 hours at 30 degrees C to obtain a quaternary ammonium salt; adding salt and acrylamide to an aqueous acrylic acid solution, adding Span 80 (RTM: sorbitan monooleate), heating to 60 degrees C, adding ammonium persulfate, and reacting for 48 hours; and washing with a mixture of ethanol and acetone, vacuum drying, and grinding. USE - Method for the preparation of an amphoteric comb-type polyacrylamide (I) (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Through synthesizing quaternary ammonium salt functional monomer, the polyacrylamide (I) has long-chain comb type structure and has improved elasticity, shear resistance, temperature, and pH resistance are high. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of an amphoteric comb-type polyacrylamide of formula (I) comprises adding equimolar amounts of 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate and 1-bromoalkane (Br-(CH2)m-1-CH3) to a round bottom flask filled with acetone, adding hydroquinone under nitrogen protection, and reacting for 6-10 hours to obtain a transparent solution; removing acetone from the transparent solution by carrying out low-temperature rotary evaporation, washing through petroleum ether to a clear state, drying for 24 hours in a 30 degrees C vacuum oven, and placing in a vacuum drying box to obtain a quaternary ammonium salt; adding the quaternary ammonium salt and acrylamide (pCH2=C(H)C(=O)NH2) to an aqueous acrylic acid (qCH2=C(H)CO2H) solution in a four-neck flask provided with a stirrer, a nitrogen filling pipe, a constant pressure liquid drop funnel, and a return condensing pipe, adding Span 80 (RTM: sorbitan monooleate) and Tween 60 (RTM: polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monostearate) to polymerize emulsion, heating to 60 degrees C, adding oxidant ammonium persulfate, triggering polymerization under nitrogen protection, sealing and reacting for 48 hours to obtain a milky emulsion; and pouring the milky emulsion in a flask, washing the solution with a mixture of ethanol and acetone at a volume ratio of 1: 1 to obtain a clear solution, placing the washed product in the vacuum oven, drying for 24 hours at 60 degrees C, and grinding. m=6-16; and n, p, q=2-10000.
