摘要:NOVELTY - Halogenated polymers (I) are new. USE - (I) are useful as catalyst for catalytic oxidation of alcohol to aldehyde or ketone (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple and environmentally friendly; and utilizes sable catalyst which can be easily recovered and reused at least 20 times. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Halogenated polymers of formula (I) are new. The molecular weight of immobilized polystyrene resin is less than 30000 (preferably 5000-30000) and particle size of 50-400 mesh. A1 = -NH, -NCH3, N(CH2)nCH3, O, -CONH - or COO; n = 1-10; p = 1-20; B1 = di-substituted aryl or heteroaryl; R1 = halo; R2 = H, sulfonic acid, sulfonate or sodium sulfonate (where R1 and R2 substituents are substituted at ortho, para or meta positions); and G = immobilized polystyrene resin. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparation (I); and (2) catalytic oxidation of alcohol to aldehyde and ketone using (I) as oxidation reaction catalyst, comprising reacting an alcohol compound, oxidant and (I) at -30 to 150 degrees C for 1-10 hours, where the alcohol compound is 4-pregnen-16 alpha ,17 alpha -epoxy-11 alpha -hydroxy-2,20-dione, 11 alpha , 17 alpha -dihydroxy progesterone, benzhydrol, 2-undecanol, 1-(4-methylphenyl)-1-ethanol or 1-(2-chloro-5-nitrophenyl)-1-ethanol, the oxidant is hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, potassium monopersulfate complex salt, peracetic acid or tert-butylhydroperoxide, the solvent is tert-butanol, ethyl acetate, acetonitrile, water, acetic acid, 1,2-dichloroethane and/or nitromethane, the molar ratio of oxidant and alcohol compound is 1:1-5:1, weight ratio of solvent/alcohol compound is 1:1-20:1, the volume ratio of any two mixed solvents is 1:20-20:1 and the molar ratio alcohol compound/I) is 1:3-1:0.05.
