摘要:提出了一种基于电磁诱导透明慢光的马赫-增德尔干涉解调方案,用于提高光纤布拉格光栅应变传感器的传感灵敏度。理论研究表明,采用常用的Λ型三能级原子系统,在合适的控制场条件下,可以获得较高的群折射率,从而提高光栅应变传感灵敏度。进一步分析了控制场对传感量程和传感灵敏度的影响,根据理论计算,在加入控制场强度G为60 MHz的电磁诱导透明介质后,该系统的应变测量范围为?50~50 nε,应变灵敏度约为?40 Rad/με,这比基于马赫-增德尔干涉解调的光纤布拉格光栅应变传感的灵敏度提高约3000倍。
A Mach-Zehnder interferometer demodulation scheme based on slow light in electromagnetically induced transparency medium is proposed and applied to improve the sensing sensitivity of fiber Bragg grating strain sensors.Theoretical studies have found that higher group refractive index can be obtained under suitable control field conditions by the commonΛ-type three-level atomic system,and the sensing sensitivity of fiber Bragg grating strain sensors is improved.Influences of the control field on the sensing range and sensing sensitivity are further analyzed.According to the theoretical calculation,when the control field G=60 MHz,the sensitivity of fiber Bragg grating strain sensor based on Mach-Zehnder interference demodulation can be increased by about 3000 times.The proposed strain sensor demonstrates a high sensitivity of?40 Rad/μεand strain measurement range of?50~50 nε.
