摘要：NOVELTY - A ligand-containing compound (I) is new. USE - New ligand-containing compound used in kit and reagent for diagnosing dihydrotestosterol dehydrogenase-mediated disease e.g. malignant malaria, and medicinal composition (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The compound (I) can effectively detect diseases mediated by dihydroorotate dehydrogenase. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A ligand-containing compound of formula: A-L-R (I) is new. A=pigment group; R= dihydroorotate dehydrogenase specific-binding agent;and L=linking group. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a medicinal composition, which comprises the compound (I) and a carrier or an excipient.
