摘要：以2012—2022年A股上市公司为样本,探究焦点企业绿色连锁董事对同行企业绿色响应行为的影响,结果显示,焦点企业绿色连锁董事会促进同行企业绿色投资和漂绿行为。此外,高管环境注意力显著增强了绿色连锁董事对同行企业绿色投资的正向影响,削弱了对同行企业漂绿行为的正向影响;政府环境关注度显著增强了绿色连锁董事对同行企业漂绿行为的正向影响,削弱了对同行企业绿色投资的正向影响。进一步研究发现,焦点企业绿色连锁董事通过降低资源约束和增强绿色创新能力给同行企业形成竞争压力促使同行企业增加绿色投资,通过改善ESG表现给同行企业造成制度压力迫使同行企业增加漂绿行为。
Using a sample of A share listed companies from 2012 to 2022,this paper investigates how focal firms'green interlocking directors influence peer firms'green responses.The results show that green interlocking directors in focal firms promote both green investment and greenwashing behaviors among peer firms.Moreover,executive environmental attention significantly strengthens the positive effect of green interlocking directors on peer firms'green investment,while weakening their effect on greenwashing.In contrast,government environmental attention significantly strengthens the positive effect of green interlocking directors on peer firms'greenwashing,while weakening their effect on green investment.Further analyses reveal that green interlocking directors in focal firms impose dual pressures on peer firms:by alleviating resource constraints and enhancing green innovation capacity,they exert competitive pressure that drives peers to increase green investment;by improving ESGperformance,they impose institutional pressure that compels peers to engage more in greenwashing.
