摘要:本文基于大学物理课程开展了考核方式对当代高校大学生学习成绩影响的研究。通过对一学期若干个班级学生平时、期中和期末成绩数据的采集和分析,给出了以考核频率和教师教学指数为变量的成绩分布拟合函数并对此进行了详细讨论。我们的研究结论是,大学物理课程教学中可以借鉴美国高校的小测验考核方式,有效提高学生学习效果;考核频率以每月一次为最优选择。该研究为提高大学物理教学成绩以及中国高校基础理论课程教学改革提供了一定的理论和实践的依据。
The impact of assessment methods on the study outcome was investigated in a multi-section college physics course.Different testing schemes were employed in different sections,while the term,midterm,and final grades were collected and compared.The grades were fitted into a distribution function with the test frequency and the quality of the instructor as variables.The results show that the in-class quizzes,which is commonly used in the universities in the United States,can effectively improve the student performance,while the optimal frequency for testing is once a month.The present study provides a theoretical and practical basis for the development and revision of college physics and other STEM courses in China.
