摘要:With the widely application of polycaprolactone-based biodegradable materials, the green production of Ε-caprolactone (Ε-CL) as a major synthetic monomer, has received widespread attention. In this paper, Novozym?435 (N435) was used as a catalyst, which used a separate reaction method to avoid direct contact with urea hydrogen peroxide (UHP) and stirrer. The reaction conditions were optimized to achieve 90% production of Ε-CL. The cause of enzyme inactivation and unknown product structure were analyzed. Compared with the traditional mixing method, the separation reaction method not only improved the catalytic effect and enabled the yield of Ε-CL to reach 90%, but also maintained the integrity of the immobilized enzyme particles and realized the reuse of the carriers. It was proved that the low concentration system was favorable for the reaction, the main reason of enzyme inactivation was the change of structure during the reaction, and the white insoluble substrate appeared after the reaction was a substance called hydroxyurea. ? 2023, The Authors.
