摘要:NOVELTY - Graphitic carbon nitride and polymer poly(diphenylbutadyine) (PDPB) complex photocatalyst comprises complexing graphitic carbon nitride and polymer PDPB, promoting the separation of electron-hole by the synergistic effect of graphitic carbon nitride and polymer PDPB during photocatalysis, to promote the improvement of the photocatalytic activity. USE - The photocatalyst is useful for photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) compared with pure graphitic carbon nitride and pure PDPB (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple and easy to operate, environmentally-friendly and economical; has high yield; can effectively separate the photocatalyst and the hole of the catalyst; improves photocatalytic activity; and produces the complex with higher photocatalytic activity than pure carbon nitride and pure PDPB. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing photocatalyst comprising (a) thermally polymerizing the cyanamide precursor at a certain temperature, to obtain graphitic carbon nitride, (b) dissolving a certain amount of PDPB in ethanol solution, adding a certain amount of graphitic carbon nitride, stirring for 24 hours, evaporating the ethanol solvent to dryness in an oil bath, drying in an oven at 70 degrees C for overnight, naturally cooling and grinding.
